Quick weight loss is a reality

You have been on and off diets and exercise programs; you keep gaining and losing a few pounds then and now. But now you want to achieve quick weight loss and maintain it. So how can you go about a quick weight loss program for you which doesn’t harm your health? Simple, follow our quick weight loss advice.

Drink plenty of water

The first thing experts recommend people wanting quick weight loss is to drink lots of water. Water suppresses your appetite be giving you the feeling of being full. It also keeps your body hydrated and avoids any hunger pangs. If you don’t take enough water, your body’s capability to metabolize the fat reduces thus storing more fat in your body. Drinking cold water will make your body work that much harder to bring it to body temperature thus aiding in quick weight loss.

Eat five times a day

Though it may sound strange that we are asking you to eat so as to achieve quick weight loss, it indeed is true. Eating five times a day ensures that your metabolism is working overtime to burn the fats and helps in quick weight loss. But remember to eat small portions in every meal, or you will end up gaining rather than losing weight. Take plenty of proteins and carbohydrates, and avoid bad fats. Your calorie intake should be less than the amount of calories you burn. This brings us to the next step for quick weight loss.

Get moving

Try and get as active as you can. If your schedule doesn’t permit you to join a gym, then try and squeeze in small bits of walking to achieve that quick weight loss. If you are already working out and not seeing any improvement, then maybe its time to change your exercise routine, or duration. The extra work your body will have to do will surely show results. The exercise doesn’t need to be very intense; it just needs to be more from your existing activity levels.

So quick weight loss is not a myth, all it needs is some effort from your side.

One Response to “Quick weight loss is a reality”

  1. Yes, it is possible to take off some weight very quickly. The exact amount will depend on the person. I’ve found that I can quickly drop 5 lbs in a day or two, but I then rebound shortly afterward. For me, the best way is slow, steady loss over time (one or two pounds a week). I’m on my way down now, and I intend to live down there from here on.
